Description: White in colour and possesses a protuberance at the front of its head which houses an echolocation organ.

Reasons for endangerment: Climate change, pollution, habitat loss, and hunting

Geographical location: Native to the Eastern Himalayas and Southwestern China

Description: Mainly red or orange-brown with a black belly and legs

Current population: Less than 10 000

Reasons for endangerment: Habitat loss, hunting, and poaching

Geographical location: Located in the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans

Description: Has leather-like skin and a flexible carapace that covered by oily flesh

Current population: 2,300 adult females

Reasons for endangerment: Fisheries bycatch, direct harvest of eggs and meat, and habitat degradation
